THE ROLE
The Senior Clinician (MACR) within the Youth team of the Forensic Disability Clinical Service is a specialist position that is responsible for the development and provision of assessment and intervention to young people aged 10 to 12 who are below the age of criminal responsibility but display serious behaviours of concern that might otherwise be deemed as criminal. The position is integral to the provision of contemporary treatment and care within the forensic disability sector.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Deliver assessment and intervention to young people aged 10 to 12 years and their networks who are clients of the MACR service response. The role is to also provide assessment and intervention services for the general clinical service as required.
- Contribute the development and evaluation of assessments and interventions for clients.
- Contribute to the planning, development and delivery of training and education programs for clinical staff and other agencies working with young people aged 10-12 with a cognitive disability and assist in the selection and co-ordination of the supervision of university interns on placement with FDCS.

This is an NDIS Risk Assessed Role / This is a Key Personnel Role.
Staff appointed to this role at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing may not commence in role until they have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and have provided this detail for recording.
