Our esteemed client is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Marine Mechanics specialising in outboard engines to join their expert team. This pivotal role is perfectly suited for professionals passionate about marine mechanics, with a strong focus on outboard motor repair and maintenance. The successful candidates will be integral in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of a wide array of outboard engines, delivering superior service and support to our clientele.
Applicant Requirements:
Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Marine Mechanic, with a strong emphasis on outboard engines.Required to present evidence of specialised training or certification in Marine Mechanics, particularly with outboard engines, such as a Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology or equivalent.Necessary documentation includes references from prior employment, pay slips, a valid passport, and police clearance.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues and perform repairs on outboard motors, ensuring engines operate efficiently and reliably.Perform routine maintenance and servicing of outboard engines to prevent future issues and extend engine lifespan.Install and test new outboard motors, providing clients with initial setup guidance and advice.Utilise specialised diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and optimise engine performance.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest outboard engine technology and repair techniques.Provide exceptional customer service, offering clear explanations of repair and maintenance work to clients.Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation work undertaken.Qualifications:
Extensive experience and knowledge in the repair and maintenance of outboard engines, supported by at least 5 years in the field.Relevant technical qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology.Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools specific to marine outboard engines.Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client and team interactions.Our Client Offers:
