As Australia's first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone project is driving innovation—and we're building a skilled team to make it happen.
The Eneabba facility will process monazite concentrate extracted from Iluka's mineral sands operations, with production scheduled to commence in 2026.
We're currently seeking Experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Construction division on a long-term project. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team working across both Civil and SMP scopes, contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA's Mid-West.
Location: Eneabba, WA (Mid West Region)
Roster: 2:1 Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO)
Mechanical alignmentPumps, drives, agitatorsMechanical InstallationsPrecision FittingConduct fault finding for breakdownsMaintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materialsAssemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipmentComplete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machineryConduct marking and lining outConduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the taskMaintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not requiredFollow quality control systems and techniquesHousekeepingPerform other general duties as required About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
