About the role

CAFFI LOGISTICS' is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Stock Controller to join our team in Jandakot, WA. This full-time role is critical to ensuring the efficient management of our inventory and the smooth running of our operations. As Senior Stock Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimising our supply chain processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and managing emails.
  2. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across our multiple departments
  3. Conduct regular stock takes and audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
  4. Implement and oversee effective stock rotation and storage in the areas of carton damage, warranty change overs, faulty goods and rejected deliveries
  5. Investigate and resolve any stock-related issues or complaints in a timely manner
  6. Provide detailed reporting and analysis on inventory performance and make recommendations for improvement
  7. Maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions and documentation.
  8. Report directly to Goods Inward Manager and Supply Chain Manager

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar stock control or inventory management role, ideally within the manufacturing, logistics or distribution industries
  2. Strong working knowledge of stock control principles, inventory management best practices, and warehouse operations
  3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  4. Proficient in using inventory management software and data analysis tools
  5. Proven ability to work with a team to achieve operational excellence
  6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
