One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage multiple Windows Engineer/Cloud Engineer to support key initiatives across the department. The successful Engineers will join a technical collaborative team responsible for deployment, management and maintenance of Highly complex, Critical infrastructures. The successful candidates will be offered an initial contract until 30 June, with two 12-month extension options.

The successfulWindows Engineers/Cloud Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Plan, installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading Windows Server operating systems and associated hardware.
  • Support and administration of cloud infrastructure and automation/orchestration platform.
  • Developing and managing hardened Windows COE environments including application patching and application deployment
  • Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with divisional staff.

The successful Windows Engineers/Cloud Engineers will have experience in the following:

  • Skills in implementing security controls and monitoring for threats in cloud environments.
  • Strong experience managing hypervisor platforms
  • Strongly developed skills in programming for automation: Knowledge of programming languages for task automation and service manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of network design and management principles in a cloud context
