The Role

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to strengthen our Technology team. In this role, you'll design, implement, and optimise robust IT and OT infrastructure solutions that support both our internal operations and our customers. You'll go beyond day-to-day administration, applying your technical expertise to architect, deliver, and integrate technologies that underpin mission-critical energy and systems integration projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable IT/OT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
  • Lead systems integration across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.
  • Administer and optimise virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity measures (zero-trust, IAM, SIEM, malware/antivirus).
  • Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and clear documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar IT systems engineering role.
  • Strong technical expertise in Windows, Linux server environments, enterprise networking, cloud platforms and virtualization.
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks (IAM, SOC, SIEM, penetration testing).
  • Experience integrating IT with OT systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (preferred).

Further Details

This role may require occasional work outside of standard business hours to provide support to our global customer base, including US-based customers.
