Over the past five years, our team has grown significantly, and with that growth comes the exciting opportunity for a Drafting Manager to join us.
We're seeking an experienced professional with strong drafting expertise, excellent attention to detail, communication and teamworking skills, and a passion for design and collaboration.
Skills & Experience Required- Proven architectural drafting experience
- Solid knowledge of the building & construction industry
- Strong understanding of BCA, Regulations & ResCode
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong written and verbal skills
- Revit experience
- Excellent time management and organisational skills — able to achieve objectives within deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- A collaborative team player who supports and works well with others
- Experience leading teams (preferred but not essential)
- Lead, manage and co-ordinate the drafting department to ensure efficiency, compliance, and deadlines are met
- Update standard plans and implement new designs as required
- Mentor, support and develop drafting staff
- Review plans for accuracy and consistency
- Liaise with certifiers and councils to ensure compliance
- Work collaboratively across all departments within Hadar
- Manage priorities and deadlines using BuilderTrend
- Demonstrate leadership by example as an active member of the Hadar leadership team
