Over the past five years, our team has grown significantly, and with that growth comes the exciting opportunity for a Drafting Manager to join us.

We're seeking an experienced professional with strong drafting expertise, excellent attention to detail, communication and teamworking skills, and a passion for design and collaboration.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven architectural drafting experience
  • Solid knowledge of the building & construction industry
  • Strong understanding of BCA, Regulations & ResCode
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong written and verbal skills
  • Revit experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills — able to achieve objectives within deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • A collaborative team player who supports and works well with others
  • Experience leading teams (preferred but not essential)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and co-ordinate the drafting department to ensure efficiency, compliance, and deadlines are met
  • Update standard plans and implement new designs as required
  • Mentor, support and develop drafting staff
  • Review plans for accuracy and consistency
  • Liaise with certifiers and councils to ensure compliance
  • Work collaboratively across all departments within Hadar
  • Manage priorities and deadlines using BuilderTrend
  • Demonstrate leadership by example as an active member of the Hadar leadership team
