architectural draftsperson

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Drafts person to join our close-knit team. Our high-output studio is searching for a potential Drafting Team Leader. This is a full-time contract position within our office.

The Role

As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own projects from start to finish. You will work under the guidance of our office director, but your ability to efficiently manage clients and deadlines is crucial.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Creating all types of residential drafting using REVIT with a high degree of proficiency.
• Producing high quality 3D rendering montages using REVIT and Enscape.
• Preparing and submitting Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), and Complying Development Applications (CDC).
• Managing your own projects and clients with a focus on efficiency and communication.

Key qualifications and skills include:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a drafts person, with a focus on residential projects.
• Proven proficiency in REVIT is a must. Experience with Enscape is also required.
• Excellent management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide others.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and working within a close team environment.
• A strong desire to grow into a team leader role.
