Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role requires attention to detail, technical ability, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to determine measurements, materials, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
  • Install structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, frames, flooring, and staircases.
  • Repair and maintain existing wooden structures, furniture, and fittings.
  • Ensure all work meets relevant building codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Operate and maintain carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and select materials to ensure high-quality construction results.
  • Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining, sealing, and polishing surfaces.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven 1 year experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role.
  • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
  • Good mathematical and measurement skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor).
  • Valid driver's license and white card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
