About the Role:
As the Content Lead, you are responsible for the development of CPA Australia's Program and/or Professional Development content. Working with internal stakeholders, you will inform and lead the development of the portfolio of multi-modal courses. You will provide technical expertise and direction to content authors and learning designers in developing or re-working online learning content, as well as ensuring that the courses employ a digital learning mode, provide a quality learning experience and are appropriate for audiences at the postgraduate level.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing the sourcing and development of content for courses on a range of financial acumen and interdisciplinary skills
- Managing the quality assurance of all content and assessments ensuring high levels of technical accuracy, currency and relevance, editorial standards and pedagogy are evident
- Creating an offering that engages learners through contemporary educational practices and integration of technologies
- Continuous enhancement of the learning offer (through effective use of learning media, digital resources and interactive products) and the underpinning operational processes to provide flexibility, alignment and enhanced learning opportunities for CPA Australia members and candidates
- Working with key stakeholders and contracted suppliers to manage and enhance the operational delivery of content and the assessment strategy
- We have multiple opportunities which are all 12-month fixed term contracts
About You:
You will come to us with content development experience in an educational or academic environment, knowledge of learning and assessment practice and course design. You will also bring:
- Current, broad industry knowledge/practitioner knowledge experience in subject area/s across the accounting profession
- Demonstrated awareness of accounting education issues / trends
- Awareness of global accounting profession, IFAC and International Education Standards valuable
- Research, synthesis and review of content
- Apply and utilise appropriate content curation methodologies
- Identify, capture and evaluate the most suitable content that ensures relevance and job applicability for product owners to deliver to the learner and their customers.
- Very detail-oriented, with ability to identify and address gaps/issues pertaining to technical accuracy, currency and relevance of materials as well as editorial errors
- Ability to adhere to and deliver on product & portfolio delivery plans and deadlines
