Lead Content Producer
- Lead end to end content production and guide an agile content team.
- Create engaging, data driven video, podcast, and social content that builds daily platform engagement.
- Drive innovation through AI assisted workflows, new production technologies, and creative collaboration across marketing and design.
Why this role is exciting
For over 15 years, Intalo Group and The Career Network (TCN) have built innovative career and talent solutions that help people connect to meaningful work at every stage of life. From school students exploring their first pathways, to adults advancing or changing careers, our platforms and content empower lifelong learning and employment.
Now we're expanding TCN into a dynamic digital media platform that people return to every day, creating video, podcast, and multimedia content that informs, inspires, and empowers people to take their next step.
We're looking for a hands on, creative, and strategic Lead Content Producer to lead this evolution. You'll drive the production of diverse, premium quality content; from inspiring career stories and industry insights to practical how to guides and expert interviews, driving engagement directly on our platform and app.
What you'll do
Working closely with the Head of Platform and Marketing, you'll:
- Lead end to end content production across concept development, pre-production, filming, editing, and delivery.
- Develop and evolve content formats and strategies that strengthen engagement and daily usage of The Career Network platform and app.
- Oversee a broad range of content types, including short form videos, podcasts, interviews, and educational explainers.
- Play a leading role in shaping our emerging editorial and story capture capability, including collaboration with a soon to be appointed Graduate Journalist.
- Work with the marketing team to analyse content performance and audience insights, refining production priorities and creative ideas and approaches based on data.
- Source, lead, and mentor interns and junior production staff to build an agile internal content team.
- Take ownership of researching and developing new production approaches, technologies, and workflows to futureproof our capability.
- Implement AI assisted tools to streamline editing, repurposing, and enable rapid content distribution across multiple formats and platforms.
- Manage logistics, schedules, budgets, and production assets with precision.
- Champion storytelling consistency and brand quality across all formats and channels.
- Contribute to broader campaign planning and creative direction, collaborating closely with the marketing and design teams.
About you
You're a creative leader with the drive to build something new and the discipline to make it run smoothly. You think strategically but execute fast. You're just as comfortable managing logistics as you are pitching new content ideas or exploring emerging tools. You'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience in producing video, TV, or digital content.
- Proven ability to manage complex productions from concept to delivery.
- Strong creative vision and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience leading small teams and mentoring junior creatives.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Enthusiasm for using AI assisted production tools to innovate and improve efficiency.
- Curiosity and initiative to explore new ideas and build internal capability.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine passion for creating meaningful content and a love of great storytelling.
- A genuine interest in people, psychology and human behaviour.
Why join us
At The Career Network, we're redefining how people connect to work and lifelong learning. We're building a global media platform where engaging, accessible content inspires action and builds confidence for people at every career stage.
You'll be joining a high performing, forward thinking team during a pivotal growth period, with the opportunity to lead a creative function that will shape both our brand and our impact for years to come.
This role is full time and hybrid, primarily on site due to the hands on nature of production.
If you're ready to lead, innovate, and bring powerful ideas to life through video and storytelling, apply now and help us build the future of The Career Network.
