The Offering
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Service Delivery Specialist (Telco)
You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of Government and Enterprise clients, ensuring the seamless delivery of telecommunications, and technology services (Telstra).
You will manage client relationships, ensure service performance, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management & Portfolio Oversight
- Manage a portfolio of government and enterprise clients, ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as the key contact for service-related issues, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance, gather feedback, discuss areas for improvement, and explore potential new technology service offerings.
- Identify and proactively address any service risks or challenges within the portfolio.
Service Delivery & Performance Oversight
- Ensure all technology services are delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations, adhering to Australian standards and regulations.
- Monitor performance metrics for clients in the portfolio, taking action to resolve any service issues and ensuring service quality is maintained.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical support, operations) to address service challenges and maintain performance standards.
Sales & Project Assistance
- Support the Sales team in implementing new services, upgrades, or contract renewals for clients in the portfolio.
- Assist in developing project plans and ensuring timely delivery of service implementations, upgrades, or other projects within the portfolio.
- Contribute to the sales strategy by identifying upselling opportunities or new service needs based on client interactions and feedback.
Compliance, Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all service delivery processes comply with government regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks related to service delivery and develop strategies to avoid or resolve these issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer experience, leveraging client feedback and performance metrics.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present regular performance reports for the client portfolio, covering key service metrics, client feedback, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all service delivery activities, client communications, and compliance records are accurately documented in line with Australian business requirements.
- Update leadership on the performance of the client portfolio, ensuring any issues or opportunities are clearly communicated.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Telco/ Telstra experience is desirable.
- Experience in service delivery, client relationship management, or account management.
- Experience in managing government and/or enterprise client portfolios.
- Strong understanding of service delivery aligned with SLAs and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Australian standards and ITIL principles.
- Experience with CRM or ITSM platforms.
- Experience with public sector contracts or procurement in Australia.
