Senior Consultant (Asia-Pacific)
Overview
Delivery Associates is looking to connect with talented and passionate individuals for an exciting role working with clients on projects across the Asia-Pacific region. We work in partnership with government, foundations and public sector partners on some of the biggest issues they face – climate, justice and equity, education and healthcare, data and innovation for public good.
Job Description
At Delivery Associates (DA), we work with leaders in the public sector to solve complex challenges, build consensus, and implement policies and programs that impact millions of people. As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a small, dynamic team that partners with government and public sector leaders, as well as philanthropic and nonprofit organizations, to improve the delivery of public services that create real outcomes for communities.
We use our flagship delivery tools and methods—shaped by years of global experience—to help partners solve problems and deliver results. But we're not just method-driven: we succeed because of our curiosity, commitment, and urgency to help clients achieve lasting impact. This role offers you the chance to implement our delivery methodology, support and lead meaningful policy and program implementation, and grow alongside our clients.
We are currently looking for team members to help grow our work across Australia, South-East Asia, and the Pacific.
What You'll DoIn this role, and with support from experienced Project Leaders, you will apply sharp analytical problem-solving skills and your passion for public service to help clients:
Use data to generate and test policy recommendations, drive decision making, and track implementation progress.
Facilitate collaborative problem-solving and establish action-oriented routines with stakeholders.
Design and lead workshops with senior decision-makers, technical partners, and frontline service providers.
Translate insights from field engagement into implementation strategies that work.
Develop high-quality client deliverables—presentations, reports, engagement sessions—that are clear, compelling, and actionable.
Manage work plans, timelines, and sequencing to support the successful delivery of fast-paced, high-impact public sector and non-for-profit projects.
Provide guidance and structure to team Associates and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
Help clients monitor delivery progress with a mindset focused on urgency, pace, and adaptability.
Maintain strategic focus amid complexity, helping large coalitions stay aligned on priority outcomes.
Key Skillsets
You don't need to be perfect in every area—we thrive on team collaboration and diverse strengths. However, you should be comfortable with:
Building trust-based partnerships with diverse stakeholders across government, nonprofits, advocacy, and philanthropic sectors.
Breaking down complex challenges into root causes, forming evidence-based hypotheses, and proposing implementable solutions.
Giving and receiving candid, constructive feedback to improve team and client performance.
Working independently in a remote environment while staying highly accountable and proactive.
Navigating complex environments, especially in policy and program implementation, with clarity and strategic alignment.
We work best with people who are:
Adaptable – Public sector work is dynamic. So are we.
Analytical – We solve problems with evidence and insights.
Accountable – Our team thrives on trust, ownership, and reliability.
Driven – We care deeply about impact and integrity in our work.
Collaborative – We're generous team players.
Curious – We're avid learners, driven by humility and the will to improve.
Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years of relevant, full-time experience in government, consulting, project management, public policy, impact measurement, or related fields
Strong analytical and communication skills, with comfort navigating data in spreadsheets and creating compelling presentations
Business-level English proficiency
Must be based in and have the right to work in Australia or the Philippines
Remote work readiness and willingness to travel up to 25–50%
A positive, solution-focused belief in the power of government and social impact organizations to drive meaningful change
Experience managing policy or program implementation across government or social impact partners
Strong capabilities in using data for decision-making, impact tracking, and building client capacity
Over 3 years working with or in the public sector or adjacent fields, with a strong understanding of delivery mechanisms
Exposure to any of our major verticals: economic development, sustainability, education, public health, agriculture
Relevant keywords that resonate with our work: policy implementation, program delivery, monitoring & evaluation, public administration, government advisory, international development, donor-funded programs
Exposure to senior leaders in government, NGOs, and social impact sectors
Opportunity to be part of a growing global team working on transformative projects
Access to training and mentorship from senior leaders across the firm
Space to shape the trajectory of a fast-growing, mission-driven organization
Competitive compensation and benefits
Passion – We care deeply about making an impact.
Excellence – We deliver to the highest standard.
Humility – We are confident but never arrogant.
We support governments and social impact organizations around the world in turning big ideas—like campaign promises and ambitious policy goals—into reality for the people they serve. Our approach combines practical delivery methodology, strong values, and a deep commitment to results. Learn more at or reach us at
