We're excited to be hiring for the position of Marketing Manager at Zenn Design. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal position to help shape the next chapter of Zenn Design.
You'll be at the forefront - driving strategy, partnerships, creative campaigns and brand activations. We're looking for an experienced marketer with a proven track record in brand-building who's ready to bring energy, ideas and impact.
This role is working alongside the company's Founder and Creative Director in a dynamic, hands-on and influential capacity. The role is ideal for someone who wants to make their mark in the world of design. Salary is negotiable and will reflect the skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Working with our Creative Director to develop and maintain a brand strategy that strengthens Zenn's reputation as a leader in design, craftsmanship and high-end homewares.
- Ensure brand voice, tone and visual identity are consistent across all platforms and communications.
- Be across market trends, customer insights and competitor activity to inform brand direction.
Marketing & Campaigns
- Ideate and execute small to large marketing campaigns, activations and seasonal content aligned with brand objectives.
- Plan and manage new product launches, from concept through to execution.
- Be informed and identify performance-driven strategies for audience growth and engagement across digital platforms.
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify and assist in securing and managing brand collaborations, media partnerships and influencer collaborations that align with Zenn's brand positioning.
- Negotiate and deliver partnership agreements, ensuring mutual value creation and long-term brand affinity.
- Build strong relationships with industry leaders and aligned design partners.
- Attend events on behalf of Zenn, representing the brand and strengthening industry connections.
- Oversee partnership requests, ensuring all approved requests align with Zenn's brand tone and positioning.
Content & Social Media
- Lead and oversee photoshoots, campaign content and creative direction to ensure the brand's aesthetic and tone are consistently reflected.
- Work closely with our in-house graphic designer to build out content assets that align with brand direction and desired outcomes.
Paid Advertising & Agency Management
- Manage and oversee paid advertising activity in collaboration with our external agency.
- Ensure campaigns remain profitable and aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics, ROI, and customer acquisition costs to optimise ad spend.
- Provide creative input on ad concepts, ensuring alignment with Zenn's brand positioning.
- Understand digital advertising trends, particularly within luxury, interior design and lifestyle sectors.
Public Relations
- Coordinate Zenn's PR activity, including writing and distributing press statements.
- Develop relationships with journalists, editors and media outlets across interiors, design, lifestyle, and architecture sectors.
- Proactively pitch story opportunities, ensuring regular, high-quality brand exposure.
- Oversee media requests, ensuring all communications align with Zenn's brand tone and positioning.
Product Development & Launches
- Partner with the design and production teams to support product ideation, positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Plan marketing rollouts, promotional activations, and PR around new launches.
- Ensure customer experience aligns with product positioning at every touchpoint.
Customer & Community Engagement
- Foster a strong online and offline brand community, ensuring Zenn's audience feels connected to our values and vision.
- Develop brand experiences, events, workshops, activations that deepen engagement with customers and collaborators.
- Proven experience in a brand, partnerships or marketing manager role ideally within the design, interiors, architecture, or high-end homewares/lifestyle sectors.
- Strong understanding of luxury and design-conscious audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in brand collaborations, influencer marketing and partnership development.
- Experience managing photoshoots, directing creative content and social media campaigns.
- Some hands-on experience in content creation required.
- Experience working with agencies to manage paid ads, with a strong grasp of ROI and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage PR activity including press statements, journalist relationships and media outreach.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to write and present clearly, persuasively and in a brand's tone.
- A creative thinker with strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
