About us

We are a growing commercial painting company in high demand by builders. Currently have a team of 25 employees and contractors.

Our work involves the painting of schools, supermarkets, restaurants, office buildings, residential insurance jobs, and more.

Requirements (applicants must have the following)

  • Minimum 3 years commercial painting experience
  • Minimum 2 year commercial painting project management experience
  • Experience in managing a team of 20+ across multiple sites
  • Experience managing 5+ job sites simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Australian driver's license and own car (sufficiently large to carry ladders, spray guns etc)
  • Willing to travel to regional jobs
  • Willing to undertake occasional night works (overtime rates apply)
  • Required to be onsite 7am-3pm Mon-Fri, and available by phone until 5pm.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Management of numerous commercial painting projects located in Melbourne and East/South thereof. Also regular regional jobs.
  • Interpreting architectural plans and specifications relevant to painting works
  • Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
  • Liaising with builders and subcontractors involved in projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety
  • Overseeing the standard and performance of all staff
  • Identify and obtain sign off for variations to scope of works
  • Provide training to staff, as required
  • Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushers, rollers and sprays
