The Role

We're seeking an experienced and qualified painter who takes their work seriously and values the process behind a flawless finish.

You'll join a close-knit crew working on high-end homes, restorations, and modern architectural projects — applying your skill to bring lasting quality and presentation to every surface.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out all aspects of surface preparation to the highest standard (filling, sanding, masking, priming)
• Applying coatings via brush, roller, or spray with clean precision
• Detecting and correcting defects to ensure immaculate finish quality
• Working closely with our directors, team leads, and builders to uphold site and client standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site
• Supporting team members and assisting in mentoring junior painters where required

What You'll Bring

Mandatory Requirements (applications not meeting these will not be considered):

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a qualified painter (residential or high-end projects preferred)
• Certificate III in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent)
• Valid White Card
• Own vehicle & current driver's licence
• Strong attention to detail and finishing standards
• High work ethic, reliability, and physical fitness
• Professional presentation and client communication skills
• Adaptability — willing to follow proven systems and deliver consistent results

Desirable Skills:

• Spray painting (airless and HVLP)
• Dustless sanding / Festool systems
• Heritage and restoration experience
• Texture, feature, or decorative finishes
• EWP / Working at Heights / First Aid certifications
