About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Project Coordinator with excellent communication skills to join our multilingual team as a full-time Project Coordinator located in Darwin, NT. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of key regional defence projects and initiatives within the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in contracts administration and project management within a progressive, dynamic company.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas and action itemsAssist with the development and tracking of project plans, timelines, and budgetsMonitor and report on project progress, identifying and escalating any issues or risksProvide administrative support for project documentation, including contracts, agreements, and reportingLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaborationSupport the implementation of project management methodologies and best practicesContribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and templates

What we're looking for

Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a project coordinator or similar administrative role, preferably within Defence and/or Transport industriesStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levelsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Google G Suite and Xero accounting softwareA collaborative and proactive approach, with a keen eye for detailTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or project management certification would be highly regardedMust be fluent in English, Filipino (Tagalog) and Timorese (Tetum).Flexibility to travel overseas and work outside standard hours from time to timeCurrent unrestricted Australian driver's license
