The Opportunity

We have an immediate Project Manager opportunity to work for one of our highly valued Queensland Government clients, based in Brisbane, CBD. Reporting directly to an experienced Project Director, you will lead a small, dedicated SAP transition project team where you will bring your projects and change management expertise to support operational readiness. The contract duration for this role, is approximately months.

While experience in SAP/IT related projects is not a pre-requisite, experience with change management projects supporting internal operational financial systems/upgrades, would be highly advantageous.

Your experience

Project Manager (AO8) - our ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise leading customer focused change management projects with the ability to collaborate, advise, negotiate and build productive relations across a broad stakeholder group, to support successful project deliverables and outcomes.
  • A sound understanding of best-practice project management methodologies, principles and practices (based on PRINCE2) where milestones are clearly established and monitored and progress management reporting is well documented and reported within the timelines agreed.
  • Inspirational team leadership, with the ability to proactively and positively manage individual team member performance resulting in the timely delivery of project outcomes, while harnessing a workplace culture of equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
  • The ability to identify, report and manage risk, including timely escalation of issues that may impact upon project deliverables or timelines within a well-managed governance framework.
  • Sophisticated communications, both verbally and written, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, across all levels.

Remuneration and Hybrid Options

Remuneration is in the range of $ $102.00 per hour plus super, dependent on experience.
