We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Marketing Lead to join our team at Target The primary purpose of this role is to maximise paid channel performance and ROAS through data-driven strategies and optimisations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing specialists, supporting their growth, development, and delivery of campaign excellence.


What will you do?

As a Performance Marketing Lead you will: 

Manage budgets, invoicing, and forecast performance, while tracking KPIs to optimise ROAS.Oversee day-to-day performance management, collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver resultsOversee execution of campaigns, ensuring consistency and quality across the team.Analyse campaign performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimisation.Develop regular reports and utilise dashboards to communicate key insights and performance metrics to stakeholders.Conduct A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimise ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting parameters.Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve overall campaign effectiveness and ROISupport the evolution of the channel mix and performance media strategyDrive the evaluation, understanding and adoption of new digital formats, channels and opportunities including development and communication of test and learn strategies and tacticsDevelop and manage performance marketing budgets, allocating funds effectively across channels and campaigns


What are we looking for? 

5+ years demonstrated experience working in a performance marketing role, preferably within a digital marketing agency, retail company, or similar environmentPrevious people management experience preferred, with the ability to train and support a junior team.Strong project management experience, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to set clear campaign objectives, track KPIs, and deliver measurable results aligned with business goals.Advanced proficiency with Google Ads, SA360, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Analytics and ExcelStrong analytical skills with ability to translate performance data into actionable insightsExperience in campaign invoicing, financial reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with finance policiesStrong capability in budget allocation, pacing, and ROI optimisation
