Sydney, New South Wales, Australia nbn® Australia Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Build your career and Australia's future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia's future. With us you'll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there's equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a
Senior Service Communications Partner
, reporting to the Executive Manager, Industry Marketing and Communications.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Service Communications Partner, you will lead the development and execution of a nbn's Industry Communications calendar, ensuring our Retail Service Providers and Partners receive timely, relevant and purposeful communications across operational, contractual, commercial and promotional categories. You will act as a trusted communications advisor to the business, working closely with internal teams to interpret technical and commercial information into clear, value-based messages that drive awareness and engagement with nbn's roadmap of operational, commercial, contractual and promotional initiatives.

This is a high-volume, hands-on role in a closely regulated environment, requiring precision, agility and a strong sense of ownership. You will draft and review operational and technical updates for industry partners, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, manage editorial calendars, oversee publishing workflows, and apply traffic management skills to ensure communications are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will manage end-to-end distribution of industry updates and oversee approval processes ensuring consistency and accuracy. You will also play a key role in executing crisis and emergency communications, bringing calm and clarity when it matters most. With a strong grasp of communications platforms and automation tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe, you will have the hands-on skills to jump in and support the team with publishing and delivering best practice.

A bit about you

You are a proactive and process-driven communicator, comfortable working in fast-paced, complex organisations and have extensive experience in B2B and technical environments. You bring a commercial mindset and a clear understanding of how to translate technical and operational information into audience-relevant messaging. Your ability to work independently, lead informal teams and manage time-sensitive publishing cycles makes you a natural fit for this dynamic, hands-on role.

You love best practice communications and you thrive in structured, process-driven environments and are confident navigating editorial workflows and automation tools. Your experience in crisis or emergency communications environments and your ability to remain composed under pressure are highly valued. Above all, you bring a collaborative spirit and a commitment to helping the business communicate with purpose, clarity and impact.
