Bright Horizons Australia Childcare Wodonga is seeking a dedicated Diploma Qualified Educational Leader with a commitment to providing excellence in care.

The successful applicants will possess a passion for high quality care and education and preferably be available Monday to Friday to join our welcoming, friendly team.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Nurturing, educating and caring for children 6 weeks to school age
  • Planning and implementing exciting and stimulating activities and learning opportunities for the children
  • Daily communication with parents and other team members
  • Working in a fun, friendly and welcoming team in a modern and bright centre
  • Getting out and interacting with the local community as a part of our Out and About excursion program

The Educational Leader will be allocated dedicated off-the-floor time to effectively support educators and contribute to high-quality outcomes within the service.

This role involves:

  • Collaborating with educators to support reflective practice and ongoing improvement.
  • Participating in decision-making processes that influence service operations and pedagogy.
  • Setting meaningful goals with educators to enhance educational programs and practices.
  • Working alongside staff to guide and support change initiatives.
  • Engaging in regular, paid professional development opportunities to continually upskill and remain informed of current best practices.

What Will You Need To Have?

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • Minimum Diploma Qualification for Early Childhood
  • A passion for providing high-quality, early childhood care and education
  • Enthusiasm and drive to succeed in providing interesting and inviting learning spaces
  • Current Working With Children's Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Motivation, initiative and willingness to be a valued team player
  • An enthusiastic approach to working with children, families and the team of Educators at the service.
