The Venue

Award winning Pasta'bah is expanding and seeking a dynamic production Chef/Cook. Our kitchen is located in idyllic country town of Murwillumbah. An extension of or Regenerative Egg Farm, our production kitchen transforms local produce into restaurant quality retail products all with an Italian theme. Our team don't do ordinary, they specialise in delivering the very best.

The Role

Permanent Part Time Role - Monday to Wednesday 7am - 5.30pm

We are looking for a talented Chef/Cookto join the team on a Permanent Part-Time basis. This role involves producing Pasta Sauces, Ready Meals, Custards, Biscuits, Deserts and other similar products for a variety of our customers including Retail outlets and Food Service venues. This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for better work life balance with the roster being Monday to Wednesday. There is a possibility that the role will turn into a 4 day full time position

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have 2+ years' experience in a commercial kitchen or a similar environment
  • Are organised with an eye for detail and consistency
  • Have immaculate presentation and hygiene
  • Be prepared to lift and move heavy items around the kitchen
  • Have exceptional time management skills
  • Have a strong food safety focus
