We at National Ability Support Provider (NASP) are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis across Melbourne's eastern suburbs and CBD. The positions are casual, and there will be opportunities for full-time permanent positions for suitable candidates.

A competitive salary and genuine long-term career opportunities are available for the right candidates.

We are seeking candidates available to work days/nights/Sleep-over and weekends.

About your new company and the role

NASP is a well-established, nationally recognised and reputable registered NDIS provider; Our mission is to provide a person-centred disability support service that empowers participants to live a life of their choosing.

As part of this role, you will be required to actively support individuals with their daily living needs and physical support requirements.

Tasks that will be expected during your shifts and not limited to will be;

  • Meal preparation and meal support
  • Administration of medication
  • Attending to personal care needs
  • Manual handling tasks
  • Transporting individuals to work, community activities, or medical appointments.
  • Complete daily reporting requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Medication administration skillset
  • 6 - 12 months of industry experience
  • Ability to work shift work, including nights and weekends
  • Experience in the tasks outlined in the shift tasks

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

You will also be required to have:

  • NDIS worker orientation certificate
  • Must have 100 point ID, Copy of Qualification
  • COVID-19 Training Module
  • Own mobile phone
  • NDIS worker screening check
  • Covid19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport
