About the Role

The Quality & Safeguarding Support Officer provides coordination and administration supports to the Quality and Safeguarding Team to monitor and facilitate compliance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Quality and Safeguarding Framework.

This position will be responsible for the coordination and administration of:

  • Monthly reporting of Restrictive Practices to the NDIS Commission
  • Delivery of the RPA Panel
  • Implementation of internal audits
  • Management of complaints and feedback
  • Management of the client survey process

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated, versatile and experienced professional to fill this position in our head office at Shenton Park. Details to be discussed during interview.

In addition to relevant experience, you will have:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate (written and verbal) with a diverse range of people internally and externally
  • Solid data entry skills; attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, against competing and short deadlines
  • Advanced ability in the use of MS office, particularly in the use of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Practice Standards is highly desirable, including those relating to restrictive practices and NDIS Commission Reporting
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Well-developed report writing skills and ability to adapt to suit the audience
  • Relevant qualification in disability, social sciences or allied health is highly desirable
