We have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Managerto join our MYVISTA Mirrabooka Residential Aged Care to join and work in collaboration with the Residential Aged Care Manager and Clinical, Care and Support team.

This position would be ideal for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager who already knows how to work collaboratively and build on the strengths of an already established Clinical Care Team. This position is key in providing overall clinical management for the sites clinical and care service delivery, as well as ensuring high quality care outcomes are achieved for the 108 residents.  We are looking for someone who is a senior cliniician with demonstrated knowledge and experience in care and services. along with experince with for residents living with dementia, palliative and end-of-life care.

With the changes to the implemetion on the new Aged Care Act Novemebr 2025, this is an ideal time for the successful candidate to support the customer, clinical and care team through the required changes, education and practice improvements in line with MYVISTA's strategic goals and objectives.

The Role:

• Be key support to the Residential Aged Care Manager to ensure ongoing effective and viable operations of the aged care home.
• Provide management and support to a multi-disciplinary team in all clinical and care/support activities.
• Monitoring, review, and reporting of acute and complex clinical conditions to meet all customer's individual requirements.
• Coach and Mentor the Registered & Enrolled Nurses and clinical /care team to achieve their potential.
• Ensure all practice and service delivery in collaboration with the resident and promote residents' wellbeing and safety.
• Ensure that the systems and processes are in place,  practiced and evidence to meet Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and MYVISTA expectations.
• Role model and demonstrate a high standard of documentation, communication, and record management so that residents' needs, choices and preferences are known and practiced.

About you:

• Developed management and leadership skills to meet current and future demands and expectations.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and skills preferably in care of the older aged care residents, additional experience with people living with dementia and palliative care.
• Demonstrate a personal approach that promotes a positive team culture, leading to exceptional care and services.
• Ability to analyse data and problem-solve to ensure practices to meet resident's health and well-being and compliance standards are in place.
• Understanding the need to manage care funding, care minutes and resource expenditure and allocation.
• Exceptional communication and decision-making skills, with a highly flexible hands-on approach.
• Willingness to provide mentorship, guidance, coaching and on-site education to colleagues in relation to the care needs of elderly residents.

Key Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to be accountable for care and clinical outcomes.
• Previous clinical management experience in the aged care
• Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring clinical and care staff.
• A passion for working in Aged Care and genuine care and respect for older people.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with dementia care and palliative care in the elderly and CALD individuals.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Clinical Governance and meeting Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
• Experience in using an electronic care management system, preferably iCare and the Microsoft Windows suite of tools including Excel.
• Current driver's license.
• National Police Clearance ( not more than 6 months old)
