Karamah Care is a faith-lead start-up committed to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive home care services to older Australians. As four community-driven founders, we're deeply passionate about creating a high-quality, values-based care services that provides dignity, empowerment, and comfort to people in their own homes.
We are currently in the process of preparing our registration and are looking for someone with both industry knowledge and practical care experience to support our business start-up and operational readiness.
The Role:
As our home care operations and registration consultant, you will work closely with Karamah Care's founding team to ensure we are fully prepared for registration and positioned for operational success.
This role is more than compliance and checklists its about building something meaningful from the ground up. You'll help us shape not only the systems and documentation required for registration, but also the frontline experience for the carers we will eventually hire.
We are seeking someone who understands the realties of care delivery and can apply that knowledge to create workflows, systems, and tools that actually work for our future care workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete all provider registration documents, policies, and compliance frameworks in alignment with aged care standards.
- Create practical care delivery workflows and service models
- Develop onboarding, training, and support systems for future staff
- Advise on governance, risk, and quality assurance aligned with aged care standards
- Support the implementation of culturally responsive care practices
- Collaborate with founders to embed values into operational design
- Provide strategic input on service readiness, rostering, and client onboarding
About You
- Proven experience in aged care operations, home care, or NDIS service delivery
- Strong understanding of aged care provider registration requirements
- Practical knowledge of frontline care delivery and workforce needs
- Ability to translate compliance into usable systems and tools
- Passion for culturally sensitive, community-driven care
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in start-up or service design environments (desirable)
