The Position

  • Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
  • Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
  • Fill in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff's performance
  • Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a consistently high-quality product; Restaurant Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
  • Responsible for food.
  • Menu cost, menu planning and design: preferable
  • Effective Head office & Front of House communication
  • OH&S & HACCP management
  • Only suitable applicants will be contacted.

Experience:

  • Qualified Chef: at least 1 year (Preferred for Sous Chef)
  • Have the experience to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Prefer a working background in a seafood restaurant (not essential)

PACKAGE OPTIONS

Full time position with weekly salary of $75k to  $80k plus super plus  and tips and free meals
