The role

Are you ready to step into a role where your clinical expertise truly makes a difference not only for your clients but also for the next generation of Occupational Therapists? At Auburn Health, we are passionate about providing the very best evidence-based care, while building a workplace where clinicians feel supported, inspired, and proud of the work they do.

As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you'll bring your skills, experience, and enthusiasm to a growing team that values collaboration, trust, and clinical excellence. You'll help shape the future of our service delivery, guide and mentor junior clinicians, and be part of an organisation that is as invested in your growth as it is in the well-being of our participants.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions across the continuum of service
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior occupational therapy staff and Allied Health Assistants, supporting their professional development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our occupational therapy services
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills with proven expertise across physical, cognitive, and psychosocial presentations.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt interventions to meet individual patient needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and professionals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
  • A passion for mentoring, leadership, and growing a positive team culture.

What we offer

At Auburn Health, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of our employees. In this role, you can expect:

  • Competitive salary with superannuation and professional development allowance.
  • Flexible working arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for leadership development and career progression within a rapidly growing organisation.
  • A supportive, collaborative culture with structured supervision and peer mentoring.
  • Access to modern resources and a dynamic workplace focused on clinical excellence.
  • Birthday Leave: Enjoy your birthday as a paid day off.
  • Paid Study Leave: Time to focus on advancing your skills.
  • After 2 years, staff may take a paid week off to pursue professional or personal growth (e.g., travel, volunteer work or research project)
  • Access to an allocated PA for admin (appointments, bills, travel bookings).
  • Incentive bonus above the expected billing thresholds.
