About Us:

Bello Constructions is a dynamic and diverse construction company from our early build-only beginnings, providing integrated services from feasibility study to handover and delivering various residential projects from luxury townhouses to unique individual dwellings. Annually, we build the home of around 200 families in Melbourne north, east and southeast areas. With a commitment to quality and precision, we're seeking a talented and detail-oriented civil engineering Draftsperson to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed structural steel and civil engineering drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.

· Interpret architectural and engineering plans to produce accurate, build-ready documentation for fabrication and site installation.

· Ensure all drawings meet Australian Standards, engineering codes, and building regulations.

· Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to ensure constructability and compliance throughout the drafting process.

· Perform quantity take-offs and material scheduling based on technical drawings.

· Assist with basic design calculations and ensure drawing accuracy through technical reviews.

· Coordinate and manage drafting deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously.

· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to clarify design requirements and resolve documentation issues.

· Revise and update drawings based on site changes, client feedback, or engineering revisions.

· Maintain an organised drawing register and ensure proper documentation control.

· Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain consistency and accuracy across all deliverables.

Requirements:

· Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a civil draftsperson (preferably in Australia or similar standards).

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong understanding of Australian design standards and council/authority requirements.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong communication and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
