Balpara is growing, and we re looking for an experienced
Distribution Substation Engineer
to join our supportive and passionate team. If you re motivated, detail-oriented, and keen to work on innovative distribution projects, we d love to hear from you.

What You Ll Be Doing

  • Design and manage kiosk and distribution substation projects (upgrades, replacements, and retrofits).
  • Prepare construction plans, estimates, and system records that meet client and regulatory standards.
  • Undertake minor site surveys when required and collaborate with our field and design teams.

What you ll bring

  • Proven experience in distribution substation design, ideally within the Victorian Electricity Industry.
  • Mandatory qualification - Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Clear communication skills and a commitment to Safety in Design.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and apply new technology.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV) in Electrical Engineering or currently working towards registration.
