This is an exceptional opportunity for a Partner to contribute significantly to the success of our clients firm by leading and expanding our Intellectual Property practice.

The role
This pivotal role is centred on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities within the intellectual property landscape, and demonstrating how our clients legal expertise can empower organisations to protect and leverage their innovations and brands. If you possess a deep understanding of intellectual property law, excel at developing tailored legal solutions, and are passionate about achieving outstanding results for clients, this is your chance to make a substantial impact and advance your career within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategic business development planning within the intellectual property sector and identifying new avenues for practice growth.
  • Develop and manage all business development and client relationship activities to achieve sustainable revenue growth in the IP practice.
  • Cultivate new client relationships and nurture existing key client accounts, maintaining a high level of engagement with relevant stakeholders.
  • Own and exceed annual regional/practice revenue targets through effective management of business development activities.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the IP legal team.
  • Expand the firm's market presence in intellectual property and contribute to the development of new service offerings.
  • Develop and package innovative legal solutions to meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Collaborate closely with other practice areas within the firm to ensure comprehensive client service and high client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the firm's marketing efforts to generate and effectively capture leads within the IP space.
  • Coordinate with other relevant teams to align firm-wide strategy and business development tactics.
  • Manage key client relationships and proactively engage with significant prospective clients.
