The Company & Role

We are partnering with a global organisation recognised as a leader in sustainable packaging solutions. With a strong footprint across ANZ and worldwide, this business partners with some of the most recognisable brands and prides itself on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities across financial control, tax compliance, foreign currency transactions, and manufacturing cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs.
  • BAS preparation and lodgement, payroll tax, and superannuation compliance.
  • Intercompany accounting, including foreign currency transactions and reconciliations.
  • Support for capex management, fixed asset registers, and year-end stocktakes.
  • Manufacturing job costing and variance analysis.
  • Provide data and insights to support budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with internal/external audits and drive process improvements.

Your Profile

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced multinational corporate.
  • CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with ATO requirements (BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, super).
  • Experience with intercompany and foreign exchange transactions highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
