The Role

- Handle BAS, PAYG, and all statutory reporting requirements
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and account reconciliations
- Process monthly payroll
- Assist external auditors and tax consultants with year-end financials and tax returns
- Support group-wide cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems
- Maintain various financial and statutory registers across entities
- Oversee and mentor a junior finance team member
- Collaborate with project teams to provide timely and accurate project financial reporting

Your Profile

- 3-4 years' experience in public practice (e.g. business services or audit)
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
- A genuine interest in the property, construction, or development sector
- Experience in Xero or similar cloud-based accounting platforms is advantageous

What you can expect:

- Be part of a tight-knit, family-led business with strong values and long-term vision
- Work alongside an experienced CFO and gain valuable commercial experience
- Exposure to large-scale, meaningful development projects across Australia
- Fast-paced, supportive, and collaborative team culture
- Inner-city office with modern amenities and easy access to public transport
- Real career growth as the business continues to expand

If you're ready to take the next step in your accounting career and want to play a key role in a fast-growing property group, we'd love to hear from you.
