Real Estate Investment Intelligence Expert

About the Role

UnlockLand is building the world's first AI-powered Real Estate Intelligence Cloud, enabling investors, developers, and city planners to make data-driven decisions in seconds.

We're seeking Investment Intelligence Experts to collaborate with our AI and data science teams on advancing the reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs) for real-world real estate investment and development analysis.

You'll apply your expertise in investment underwriting, financial modeling, and urban economics to evaluate and refine AI workflows that simulate how professionals assess land deals, pro formas, and risk scenarios.

Your insights will help shape next-generation AI systems that interpret zoning, forecast returns, and simulate development feasibility with human-level precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated development feasibilities, valuations, and underwriting analyses for accuracy, clarity, and strategic insight.
  • Calibrate AI decision-making across ROI/IRR modeling, land valuation, sensitivity analysis, and capital stack structuring.
  • Design and validate structured workflows that mirror real-world investment processes — from site acquisition to exit strategy.
  • Provide written and analytical feedback to improve model reasoning depth, realism, and financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with UnlockLand's AI researchers and product team to align with product roadmap and investor use cases.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in real estate investment, development finance, or private equity.
  • Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or Urban Planning (Master's, CFA, or CAIA a plus).
  • Deep understanding of pro forma modeling, DCF valuation, comparable analysis, zoning feasibility, and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and financial storytelling skills.
  • Excellent written communication — ability to explain complex models in plain, actionable terms.
