The role involves significant leadership influence across a wide geographic region and requires a confident communicator who can connect deeply with members, volunteers, staff and community partners.
You will play a key strategic role in the planning and future development of the Diocese, including financial oversight, operational leadership and supporting the growth of both retail operations and services. - Mentor, guide and support employees and volunteers
- Build a positive, inclusive and values-centred workforce culture
- Collaborate with the State Leadership Team and fellow Executive Officers across Queensland

- Develop, manage and monitor annual budgets for the Diocese in partnership with key leaders and report on monthly performance against budget
- Oversee operational performance and ensure compliance across all areas
- Lead safe, effective and efficient management of Diocesan operations
- Support disaster response coordination when needed
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with members, volunteers, staff and community partners
- Represent the Society with authenticity and integrity
- Engage with government and local organisations to strengthen community outcomes
- Provide high level support and advice to the Diocesan President and Diocesan Central Council
About You
You will be a values-driven leader with a genuine connection to community service and the mission of St Vincent de Paul Society. You bring a collaborative leadership style, emotional intelligence and a commitment to delivering positive social outcomes.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience managing multi program operations within community or not for profit settings

- A strong track record leading complex programs or regional operations
- Confident stakeholder engagement and networking skills
- Experience working with member-based and volunteer-based organisations
- A commitment to the values of compassion, respect, integrity, advocacy and courage
