The opportunity

In this role, you will provide high-quality advice, support and guidance across the employee lifecycle to a range of Toowoomba Catholic Schools stakeholders. This includes pre-recruitment, staffing, onboarding, ongoing employee support, stakeholder engagement and offboarding processes in accordance with human resource policies, procedures and enterprise agreements.

About you

• Relevant Diploma-level qualification in Human Resources or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience working in Human Resources or a similar environment.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, supported by strong problem solving and decision-making skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Sound understanding of employment and industrial legislation, with the ability to interpret and provide accurate advice on employment contracts, pay rates, leave entitlements, and other employment conditions in accordance with relevant award instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain highly functional and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Previous experience working in an education and/or faith based context will be highly regarded.
