A traineeship with Southern Cross Industrial Group is a unique opportunity to combine completing a qualification alongside gaining real world, on-the-job experience.

To be a SCIG trainee, you will be someone who:

  • Has a strong desire to learn and a curiosity about how business works
  • Is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge through on-the-job learning and studying
  • Can 'think outside the box', help the team problem-solve and bring new ideas to the business
  • Has a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills and the ability to handle different tasks
  • Is proactive, punctual, and reliable

The Successful Applicant :

  • Must be willing to undertake a 12-month Certificate III in Business Administration with the financial and management support of the company
  • Have a great attitude and possess strong communication skills
  • Present a professional, friendly, and courteous manner
  • Ability to work full time hours – Monday to Friday
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office to assist in the administration of day-to-day activities
  • Ability to build rapport with a variety of people
