The Role

We are looking for reliable, professional, and proactive
On-Site Field Technicians
to join our delivery team as independent contractors.

Your primary focus will be
on-site support
for our clients across the Sunshine Coast — setting up and troubleshooting WiFi and workstations, configuring Microsoft 365 accounts, securing devices, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a
hands-on role
that requires excellent communication, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to represent TTG with professionalism and care at client premises.

While the focus is on-site, there is a clear pathway to
grow into remote MSP delivery
: managing client environments through our RMM/PSA (SuperOps), applying Intune policies, running backup checks, and helping uplift security baselines across our client base.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites across the Sunshine Coast (travel within ~30km radius).
• Provide on-site support for MacOS, Windows 10/11 devices, Microsoft 365 apps, and common business IT systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and networking equipment.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 onboarding (accounts, MFA, mailbox, Teams/SharePoint access).
• Enroll devices into Intune; check compliance (BitLocker, Defender, Secure Boot, updates).
• Follow TTG Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for backup checks, updates, and endpoint security.
• Escalate issues appropriately, document all work performed, and ensure clear communication with clients.
• Represent TTG professionally, protecting our reputation and fostering trust with every client interaction.
• Grow into remote MSP responsibilities: using SuperOps to manage tickets, time entries, and schedules; helping apply Intune/Defender policies at scale; supporting quarterly client reviews.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• Strong knowledge of MacOS, Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Basic understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune device enrollment, and Microsoft Defender.
• Good working knowledge of networking basics (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transport and ability to attend client sites.
• Right to work in Australia, ABN, and willingness to sign contractor agreement + NDA.

Nice-to-haves (or willingness to learn):

• Conditional Access policies, Autopatch, and advanced Intune compliance.
• Backup and restore checks (Acronis or similar).
• BitLocker and encryption reporting.
• Basic PowerShell scripting.
• Previous MSP or IT services experience.

Contract Terms

• Engagement:
  Independent Contractor (not employee).
• Rate:
  A$70/hr.

  Flexible, with typical utilisation targets of 18–24 billable hours per week.
• Scope:
  On-site work first, with the opportunity to expand into remote MSP support.
• Compliance:
  Must complete onboarding (ABN, NDA, Intune/Defender device compliance, insurance if applicable, ID check, safety checklist).
