The Company

BCP Group is a long established company based in the South West with operating divisions covering civil contracting, plant hire, sand extraction & supply, demolition and traffic management.

About the role

We are looking for a permanent part time accountant with a great work ethic and hands on experience in running accounts for SME's.

Flexible working hours ranging between 20 to 30 hours weekly @ our head office in Busselton.

Accountant duties include (but not limited to) :

  • Daily processing and overview of all bookkeeping functions within the Group of Entities
  • Preparation of end of month profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations
  • All statutory returns
  • Maintain Lease & Asset Registers

  • Weekly payroll completion & returns

  • Employee onboarding

  • Workshop administration & procurement assistance

  • Annual Main Roads Heavy Vehicle accreditation audit and compliance
  • All administrative tasks for Heavy Haulage including maintenance of records, compliance with fatigue management, dimensions, loading and maintenance
  • Updating policies & procedures & audit preparation

Your Profile

We are seeking a strong mix of attitude and technical skills, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

  • Degree qualified
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management.
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Knowledge and experience within the transport and/or construction industry highly regarded
