Title: Manual Tester

Location: Sydney

Perm/Contract role.

Key Responsibilities


• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.


• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.


• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).


• Identify, document, and track bugs/issues using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues.


• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.


• Provide clear and concise test reports and feedback to stakeholders.


• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• Proven experience (1–3 years) as a Manual Tester or QA Analyst.


• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.


• Hands-on experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Trello).


• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Skills


• Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, TestNG) is a plus.


• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.


• Experience in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.


• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
