Test Analyst – Manual

We are seeking a Test Analyst with a strong foundation in automation and manual testing, excellent proficiency in Python, and solid API and UI testing skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications, while mentoring junior testers and contributing to the growth of our automation capabilities.

This is a hands-on, self-sufficient role suited for someone who thrives in agile environments and is proactive in communication and delivery. The role will be focused more (two-thirds) on automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
     automation test scripts (primarily in 
    Python
    ).
  • Perform 
    manual test execution
     for UI and API components using 
    Postman
    .
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to plan and execute test strategies.
  • Manage test cases and documentation using 
    JIRA and Confluence
    .
  • Assist with onboarding and 
    mentoring junior test analysts
     in automation practices.
  • Decouple the existing automation framework
     from test cases as part of ongoing improvements.
  • Support day-to-day QA activities and provide 
    proactive updates
     on progress and risks.
  • Contribute to continuous test coverage expansion and automation framework improvements.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong experience in both 
    manual and automation testing
    .
  • Hands-on expertise in 
    Python-based test automation
    .
  • Solid experience with 
    API testing
     (manual and automated) using tools like 
    Postman
    .
  • Working knowledge of 
    UI automation
     (e.g., 
    Playwright
    , Selenium).
  • Experience with 
    JIRA
    , 
    Confluence
    , and ideally 
    Xray
     (or readiness to use it).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver outcomes.
  • Strong communication and 
    proactive stakeholder management
     skills.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience with 
    Playwright
     automation framework.
  • Familiarity with 
    telecom domain
     (not mandatory).
  • Exposure to CI/CD environments.
  • Experience in Agile development and testing processes.

  • Ability to quickly adapt, self-manage tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
