The role
We're seeking a Licensed Plumber with strong diagnostics to deliver planned/programmed maintenance and minor repairs across client sites in the Newcastle/Hunter region. You'll pinpoint root causes, plan corrective actions, and keep assets compliant and reliable.
Key duties
- Perform scheduled servicing, inspections and compliance testing (e.g. TMV, backflow, Continuous flow heater, plant equipment)
- Fault-find and complete minor repairs on hot/cold water, sanitary, stormwater and gas systems
- Complete condition reports, photos and asset notes in our management system.
- Liaise with clients and coordinators to minimise downtime and plan follow-up works
- Chance to participate in rotating on-call/after-hours roster (paid)
- Follow SWMS/JSA and Mullane safety procedures at all times
About you
- NSW Plumbing Licence and Certificate IV in Plumbing.
- Proven diagnostic/problem-solving skills in commercial or facilities environments
- Comfortable working independently and adapting to a flexible, mobile schedule
- Confident with digital job apps/CMMS and clear, professional communication
- White Card and current driver's licence
- Desirable: Backflow and TMV accreditation, Gasfitter licence, WWCC/Police Check (or willing to obtain), confined space/working at heights, electrical restricted licence.
