We are Australia's largest privately owned housing maintenance company. Our clients include Public Housing and Community Housing across the country.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the delivery and management of high volume, multi-site residential upgrades. This role requires exceptional coordination of multiple individual trades, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of housing upgrades and maintenance services across Far Western and Central NSW.
This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, particularly with Aboriginal communities and partner organisations, to ensure culturally appropriate and effective project outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate and oversee the deliveries of the contract;
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost effective completion of housing upgrades and maintenance;
• Develop detailed project plans and track progress;
• Coordinate internal resources and external trades or vendors to ensure delivery and execution of projects;
• Review scopes and objectives involving all relevant key stakeholders;
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes or variations in the scope;
• Measure trade and project performance through Quality Inspections;
• Coordinate and allocate work orders to relevant Building Technical Officers;
• Prepare and present financial and progress reports to Contract Manager;
• Produce Service Delivery Program in conjunction with client;
• Deal with day-to-day issues both with client or from site as they arise;
• Supervise progression of works from Sub Contractors;
• Arrange/conduct quality inspections on completed phases of works;
• Organise rectification of defects with relevant contractor;
• Ensure invoicing, including all variations, is correct prior to submission to client;
• Track payments received from client and paid out to contractors;
• Maintain register of defects and arrange return of relevant sub contractor throughout defect liability period;
• Primary point of contact with the client for assigned projects;
• Manage the relationship with the client and stakeholders;
• Attend all contract meetings with client and other stakeholders;
• Establish and maintain relationships with client chose third party trades and vendors
• Organise timely completion and hand over of site back to client;
• Learn and maintain comprehensive project documentation on internal software.
Essential:
• 5+ years experience in project management essential
• Experience in construction, housing, asset maintenance preferred
• Building Licence or relevant Trade Certificate preferred;
• Experience managing resources and subcontractors;
• Intermediate to Advanced skills using Microsoft Office;
• Current Drivers Licence;
• Must have White Card;
• Must be able to pass a National Police check
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
