Maintenance Fitter

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Fitter (mechanical) to join our maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in Newcastle. The operational team is highly safety focused and process driven, with a positive team culture. This role offers on the job training for any knowledge gaps with permanent and stable employment, predominantly on a rotating shift.

Shift Details include:

• Roster is a 9-day fortnight, depending on role it will be either Day Work or Shift Work as required. *Roster subject to change to meet company needs*

Hourly rate: $ $ $21.45 tool allowance + shift allowance

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Execution of preventative maintenance
• Breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting
• Overhauling fixed plant and operational equipment
• Provide feedback via the maintenance management system
• Compliance with quality and safety processes to complete all tasks

We would love to hear from hardworking and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following:

• Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate OR Mobile Plant Technology OR equivalent
• Demonstrated experience overhauling fixed plant equipment
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics or post trade certificates are highly regarded
• SAP exposure, Effective verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong safety focus, can-do attitude
• Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills
• Forklift, and EWP tickets are highly regarded
