Reporting to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading and driving improved SAP utilisation, maintenance planning and scheduling processes to ensure a reliable, efficient and effective approach. 

This position will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment. 

As a Maintenance Planner you will: 

  • Maintain SAP PM Module integrity and master data.
  • Identify and implement improvements to SAP PM and work management processes.
  • Enhance maintenance planning and scheduling for accurate, integrated site plans.
  • Lead Work Management KPIs and address performance gaps with stakeholders.
  • Manage work backlog and ensure SAP data accuracy.
  • Oversee statutory/safety work orders to meet regulatory and site standards.
  • Support maintenance planning and monitor PM tasks for emerging issues.
  • Collaborate with planners to improve SAP use and maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and report maintenance plans using dashboards and metrics.
  • Coach site planners and maintenance staff on SAP PM Module.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve SAP and strategy gaps.
  • Develop and manage the department's maintenance budget.

Essential Selection Criteria: 

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP PM Module (desirable), with understanding of related SAP modules.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.Strong understanding in high voltage principles.
  • Practical understanding of substation operations and limitations.
  • Strong grasp of maintenance strategies, processes, and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Results-driven team player with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of fixed plant equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Power BI).
  • Relevant qualifications in Front-Line Management, Maintenance Management, Engineering, or trade (highly regarded).

  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Experience in Industrial maintenance
