About the role

We are seeking passionate and caring Support Workers to join our dynamic team at Gleam Team Domestic Services'. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance to our aged clients in the Adelaide area. We are seeking applicants in the Southern Suburbs and North-Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

This is an important position that contributes to the wellbeing and independence of our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with daily domestic tasks such as general cleaning (vacuuming, mopping & cleaning of wet areas) changing bed linen, hanging laundry, etc.
  • Occasionally accompanying clients on grocery shopping trips and helping them with their shopping needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client services
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably within the community services industry (preferred, but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A current National Police Clearance & WWCC or willing to obtain
  • A current First Aid Certificate is mandatory for any staff taking clients shopping.
