As a Community Domestic Worker, you will play an essential role in providing care and support that meets the goals, needs and preferences of our clients. **About the Role**:
As a **Community Domestic Worker**, you will assist clients with general household tasks and day-to-day activities based on their individual needs. You will be a part of a supportive team who have the ability to make a positive impact to older persons and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform domestic duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry and meal preparation.
- Engage In social interaction and provide companionship.
- Transport clients to appointments and assist them during social outings.
- Meet the goals, needs and preferences outlined by the client and/or advocate in the care plan.
- Communicate, report and document client changes, deterioration and concerns to the Supervisor.
- Participate in staff training, appraisals, and team meetings.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by gathering client feedback and adapting to workforce changes.
- Be actively involved in an incident management system.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A full Australian driver's license with comprehensive insurance and use of own vehicle
- Access to a reliable, registered, and insured motor vehicle.
- Access to a smart mobile device.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.

**Desirable Skills**:

- First Aid & CPR, Manual Handling Certificate
- Understanding of Italian culture and language.
- Experience working with the elderly and knowledge of aged care issues.
