ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS – Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists

Location: Busselton/Dunsborough - Community Aged Care

Permanent Positions: Part-time (minimum 3 days per week) to Full Time opportunities available.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists to join our Community Allied Health team. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will provide leadership, coordination, planning, and assessment of all aspects of the allied health program within a community setting.

To promote a program of wellbeing and re-enablement, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertake assessments of community clients allied health needs
  • Developing allied health programs to promote an individual-centred approach.
  • Partner with a dedicated team of allied health professionals and AHA's
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to the overall physical and emotional health of our clients
  • Maintaining care plans and providing advice to our front-line care staff
  • Promote a positive ageing experience for older people in the community

About You – Key Requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Tertiary Qualifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
  • Current registration with ESSA as an Exercise Physiologist
  • Previous experience within Aged Care and specialised skillsets are highly desirable (ie, hand therapy for OT's)
  • Sound understanding of people living with dementia and/or people living with complex care needs
  • Passion for working with the elderly
  • Commitment to a person-centred approach to care interventions
  • Sound clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
