Hourly rate of $57 plus salary packaging

Located in Busselton on the beautiful shores of Geographe Bay and a second location in the heart of Dunsborough, Capecare takes great pride in meeting the changing needs of today’s ageing community by delivering an outstanding model of care for clients and families choosing their services.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to join our Clinical team. Reporting to the Allied Health Coordinator and working closely with the Clinical Coordinators, you will provide leadership, coordination, planning, and assessment of all aspects of the allied health program within our residential facilities and in community settings.

To be successful you will need:

- Tertiary Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience within aged care
- Sound understanding of people living with dementia and/or people living with complex care needs
- Passion for working with the elderly
- Commitment to a person-centred approach to care interventions
- Sound clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

- Undertake assessments of residents' allied health needs
- Develop allied health programs to promote an individual-centred approach.
- Partner with a dedicated team of allied health professionals and AHA’s
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to the overall physical and emotional health of our clients
- Maintain care plans and provide advice to our front-line care staff
- Promote a positive ageing experience for older people
- Attend and actively participate in clinical meetings
