Location: - Canberra

We are looking for an
experienced Lead Cyber Security Architect
for an upcoming project for one of the federal government organisations for a long-term contract.

Required Skills

  • Minimum
    5 years' experience
    in
    cyber security architecture
    including
    security governance, risk and compliance.
  • Minimum of
    five years' experience
    with
    Australian Government governance
    concepts with a focus on
    ICT, policy/standards development, documentation
    of
    frameworks
    .
  • Experience working in
    agile environments
    , with an ability to adapt to changes in
    project direction
    and
    stakeholder expectations
    .
  • Experience assessing the
    potential risks
    and
    security standards
    of
    greenfield environments.
  • Ability to produce
    technical documentation
    and present to executives.

Desirable Skills

  • Demonstrated skills and experience across all
    architecture domains
    (i.e. business, information, security, data, technology, integration, and application)
  • Tertiary qualifications
    in an ICT related field or applicable industry certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge across
    cyber security architecture
    and industry best practice.
  • Demonstrated experience as a
    cyber security architect
    using Microsoft products and platforms.
  • Experience with
    digital transformations
    .
  • Support various business areas by ensuring stakeholders adequately address all relevant compliance standards such as the
    PSPF, ISM, Agency Risk Management Frameworks
    and incident management disciplines
  • Develop and participate in the implementation of Client's initiatives focused on the reduction of technology risk, governance and compliance to policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop IT security standards, policy, procedures, and controls for managing risks.
  • High level of communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate at the technical, business and personal levels.
  • Initiate, establish and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex IT related issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
